Hi, I’m Jennifer.
I am a New York-based Product Designer with a passion for emerging technology, art, and entertainment media.
When people asked me what I wanted to do when I was younger, I always said, "I want to be an artist" or "I want to be a designer." I was always doing something creative—painting, designing, sewing, and daydreaming about what I wanted to create next.
My previous roles include design at children’s apparel companies, amounting to 10 years of experience. Having been in these roles, I’ve developed a keen aesthetic eye and a solid design foundation.
How did I get into UI?
After working in the apparel industry, I began to feel as if something was missing. There was a sense of creative fulfillment that was lacking. Eventually, I knew I was ready for my next chapter. I chose to pursue a course in UI design because it allowed me to combine my passions in a new way.
Other things I enjoy...
Movies 🎬 - You can usually find me nestled in the dark, calming space of a theater. Consuming film in a theater is a great passion of mine and I try to go at least 3 times a month.
Gaming 👾 - I usually try to cool down from work by playing my Nintendo Switch. I love ‘Animal Crossing: New Leaf’, ‘Zelda: Link’s Awakening’, 'Super Mario Kart' and ‘Katamari Damacy’ but my recent obsession is 'Cult of the Lamb’.
Reading 📚 - Whether it’s a book, manga, or art anthology I always try to look through one before I close my eyes at the end of the day.
